I have always been a multi-passionate person filled with a drive to pursue my strangest, most unusual projects. Having recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Sociology, specialising in Disability Studies and Intersectionality, I am interested in following a career path that combines my many passions: Writing, Content Creation, and Sociology.
Writing
For as long as I can remember I have been deeply interested in writing, books and words. Winning a poetry competition at 19 led me to pursue writing more seriously. From creative writing to copywriting, words will always be fascinating to me. End 2022, I created my Substack, a Soft Surface to cry on, with the intention of publishing short pieces of writing more often and fostering a community of writers and readers.
Content Creation
Three years ago, I started delving deeper into the world of social media and posting regular book reviews and recommendations. Today, publishers allow me access to free books in exchange for reviews. Becoming more involved in the book community has cultivated my knowledge on content creation.
Sociology/Disability studies
For four years I studied society and social behaviour. I wrote various essays and two theses focusing on Disability and Gender, which stemmed from my interest and commitment to create a more just and accessible world for all.
